I have posted this in my own "sub-forum" on IAP, but some of you may not see that, so I am also posting it here. If it's in the wrong place, will the moderators please remove it.
Hi folks,
The Miami Pen Show is coming up in 1 month, below are the particulars that the show promoter has sent out in an email. I have arranged with him free admission passes for anyone in the IAP, all you have to do is PM me with your information, and we can either mail them to you, or leave them at the door when you arrive at the show.

Please join me in Miami this summer (July 11-13, 2014) for another great time at the Miami Pen Show, located at the Miami Marriott Dadeland Hotel minutes away from South Miami Beach shopping & nightlife.
The Miami Marriott Dadeland is located at 9090 S. Dadeland Boulevard, Miami, next to one of Miami's largest malls. If you can't find a great place to eat there, then you can slip over to South Beach.
In attendance you will find-
* Ken Jones of Yafa Pen Company (Delta, Stipula, Conklin, Monteverde);
* Deborah Basel (running the calligraphy class and for the first time offering the cursive writing class);
* Plastic's and pen maker Richard Greenwald and his wife Betsy will be featuring an assortment of custom plastics such as Flexigran and one of the most complete collections of pen repair parts; and
* Susan Wirth will be on hand hosting a seminar on handwriting.
Mike and Linda Kennedy of Indy-Pen-Dance will also be there performing expert pen restoration and nib repair. This dynamic team has been a great addition to our pen shows.
Also on pen repair will be Tim Girdler of Falling Waters, West Virginia, customizing fountain pen nibs while you wait. Give yourself the extra time to sit and watch Tim transform your fine or medium point nib to his custom cushion pillow italic, or anything you prefer.

Bertram's Inkwell has been a proud organizer of this show for many years, and is looking forward to another successful trip to Miami.
If you are coming to the Miami Pen Show to sell pens, we have an extensive marketing program that has begun with postcards and emails to select customers in the counties in and around Miami.
Speaking of Miami, it is the seventh most populous metro area and fifth-largest urban area in the United States, with a population of around 5.5 million. I expect a larger than usual crowd with the Dadeland Marriott's location.
Press releases will be sent shortly which we expect will attract local media to help promote the show in ways we never have.
As for your expenses if you plan to sell or trade pens as the show, here are some specifics:
* Table costs as low as $165
(Cost of table includes a full breakfast which will be served both Saturday and Sunday)
* Room rates starting at only at $115 per night. Be sure to mention the Miami Pen Show when contacting the hotel to get this rate.
* Overnight valet parking $19 (with "in & out" privileges).
All applicable discounts have been applied to these rates for maximum savings to you. To get this low room rate, provide this code "Miami Pen Show."
If you are coming for the day, we offer daily valet parking only $8.
This year we are featuring the Weekend Traders Pass for $45. This will allow traders to enter before the doors open, and have full access to the show, including after hours until the doors are locked. A special traders table will be available in the show as well.
We will also feature a two-hour calligraphy class on Saturday, and a cursive writing class on Sunday. (See Miami Pen Show website for details.) The cost is $25 per class and includes a Sheaffer Viewpoint calligraphy pen and one-day admission to the show.
