mhbuford (Martin Beuford) crossed the border from Texas to Oklahoma with his wife Billie and paid Dee and I a visit in Shawnee.

After hugs all around he brought out his "Eye Candy" and after I finished drooling over them we all decided that talking over lunch was in order so off to our local world famous "Vans Pig Stand' for Ribs and Pig sandwiches. Over lunch we discussed marketing of his "Eye Candy" among other things like his venture into stained glass, Jewelry, and knife making. Martin is one interesting artist and his wife Billie is a lovely woman who wears his custom jewelry well. As she said "I do gaudy good". They had us in stitches most of the day. Dee and I fell in love with them both and hope for a long friendship.

We were grateful for their forge across the Red river into enemy territory and look forward to bringing you some of Martin's "Eye Candy" for penturners

Great to hear of such meetings between members here. Glad all of you had such a wonderful time! I enjoyed reading it!

With my daughter living near Sringfield, MO, (Ozark) I have been looking at how many of the members are within about a 3 - 4 hour drive (daytrip) from there. You are on that list but it will be a while before I get the time.

Are we to assume good things will happen for Classics based on this meeting?
