Metal Lathe Video

I have a HF 7X10 metal lathe. I don't know a thing about metal lathes and want to start learning. I noticed that the Little Machine Shop sells a video that is 4 hours long for $43. Has anyone here got one and if so is worth the price?

Using a metal lathe

I have made ship and plane model for years ad some are in museums. All the small round parts were turned from brass or steel. I now use it for pen turning as the cross feed gives you the saame diameter for the entire length which is much better and easier than doning it by hand. I also use it as a pen parts press by holdind the pen in the chuck and pressing the parts into it with the screw on the tail stock.

You may want to consider renting several from SmartFlix, there is many to choose from and you dont have to commit as much money to purchase a DVD that may not be as good as you may think.
