I haven't had a chance in a while to turn a pen. But I had a couple of small Mesquite Burl Caps laying around and decided to see what I could come up with. I used copper and gold pearl ex. And felt it would look good on the copper Sedona kit. I like the combination.

What was your process Kendall? PR, pour and pressure? How'd you like the process? Looks good from here!

Yes its PR addded color mixed well added catalyst poured it placed under pressure for an Hour or so and cut em on the table saw. Got 4 good blanks from the block. I'm thinking of going to Alumalite though. Getting tired of the respirator and all. And the timing of the pour to get the blends just right. I've heard its faster and doesn't smell to high heaven. but I'm wondering if I can get the same results. Anybody using it can help me on that one??

Alumilite is the prefered method by many; less smell, better adheasion (PR shrinks) and better color mix. Pressure is a must, but you have that covered already!
