The catalyst that i bought for the pr says it is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide( at least i think that is what it said since i dont have it with me right now) and i have seen methyl ethyl ketone at lowes and home depot. Can you use this or does it not work without the peroxide? Any one know?

Mekp and mek are not the same. The MEK with styrofoam works as a stabilizer. MEKP can be purchased at most Auto supply stores where they have fiberglass repair kits.:)

MEK is a fantastic cut detector. If you suspect you have a cut on your hand, and also want brain damage at a fairly young age, rub your hands with MEK. Very quickly even the slightest cut or nick will be detected by the typical high-pitched alarm sound that sounds like a little girl screaming. :D DAMHIKT
