Hello,
I am currently working on the inventing merit badge. One requirement is to invent something, so I have a few questions for all of you regarding mini turning tools. By mini, i mean 1/4 in. range. I currently am planning on making a round skew, point tool, micro gouge, a slightly wider skew and an attachment to hold barrels for buffing, all of which can be mounted in one handle. So the question: which of these would YOU use, and what other tools would you find useful?

I have a set of micro tools sitting in a drawer , unused since purchased about 5 years ago . I suspect I`m not unique in this , as probably most of us use regular size tools for pen turning . However , the idea of a tool to hold a barrel securely for buffing might have potential . Wishing you speedy acquisition of the badge .

Thank you for your input, I figured that the buffing part would be the most used for most people.
