I saw Monty's message this morning that he would be closing out his glue service shortly (http://www.penturners.org/forum/f157/close-out-104263/) and wanted to thank him for all of his help over the years he has been doing this. Ran out at 5pm EST?...not a problem, it'll go out tonight, got a question about different glues?...not a problem, happy to share advice or troubleshooting...need a great price on guaranteed fresh glue?...NEVER a problem.

Thanks Mannie for all you have done! I don't know who is taking over, but they have big shoes to fill.

I agree, Mannie has been great to deal with and certainly demonstrated a great business model for who(m)?ever takes over.

I don't plan on going anywhere, other than a few more weeks off here and there.
I'll still be around and turning pens and checking in all the time.

The company that will be taking over is well known for there service also, so I don't think you will be disappointed.
Hopefully sometime between Dec 7 and 15, I'll have my inventory sold down and they will have their web site updated to reflect the items I have sold. Once that is done the announcement will be made.

With Monty's permission, I can now announce that we have enthusiastically agreed to help Mannie go into retirement!!

I want to be VERY CLEAR this is NOT a request to purchase from Exotics--instead it is a plea to help Mannie "empty the inventory"!!

We have assured him we will purchase whatever remains WHEN he wants to sell it, but we hope you will all stock up and show the appreciation you have for his many years of being the IAP CA KING!!!

We hope we will live up to the reputation Manny has built!!

Even though a lot of the items are now "showing out of stock", I have one more shipment due in tomorrow afternoon (depends on UPS delivery). If something you were looking for from EZ Bond says out check back tomorrow evening.
 
I was kind of thinking, or maybe more hoping, that it would be Exotic.

I hope they plan to carry the pen boxes as well. I have just discovered Wooden Wonders as a source for pen boxes, then I saw this thread. If I hadn't just gotten an order I would be ordering more now.
