Manu Propria Pens - "Fundame"

This "Tanto" type pocket pen is decorated with a lacquer called "Fundame". Fine gold powder "keshifun" is applied with cotton wool on a very thin coat of transparent urushi lacquer. Then "Uwazuri" is applied several times, rubbing in transparent lacquer to saturate the keshifun.

Magnificent Pen Martin,
The Gold Finish is Spectacular, and I expect that Due to the Application Process, and the Lacquer, that the Gold would be quite durable to normal use.
