I have changed my finishing regime, this is the second pen made with my new way.
The main thing I changed is the CA activator, I have started using Loctite PrimerT, 20 coats of thin CA.

I have had this piece of wood in my stash for years, found it again when I was rummaging around in the shed the other day.

I think the Triton is different to the Jr Statesman, I havent turned a Triton yet so not sure of the differences.
