Note to self: If planing 3/4" boards down to 3/8", and you are planing 8 bf. of pine and 6 bf. of cherry, you must empty your Rigid vac twice... LOTS of sawdust

I also have a rigid vac that I use sometimes on my Ridgid planer and when it fills up it reminds me that I need to get my 32 gallon collector in the middle of it. It takes up too much room but is well worth it.

The boards wouldn't fit in my band saw. I have an old (30+ years) Craftsman. I have a cyclone that I am working on. Got the unit working, now I've got to get the filters installed and do the duct work. Like Rick said, at least I wouldn't have to clean the filter.
