Hello everybody,

Hope this is the right place to write it.

I am tiring of paying Schmidt K5 converters 3x more price than its manufacturer price.

Currently I am in contact with Schmidt for them, price is 625€ for 500 pieces. MOQ is 500 unfortunately. There will be tax and shipping too. I am planning to buy 100pcs, so rest 400 is available if we reach the MOQ. I am located in Germany btw.

Do you happen to know what the taxes and shipping would be on your end? Not including shipping costs to the USA and any tariffs associated with that trip.

I am trying to determine if this is less expensive than purchasing from the USA distributor.

Taxes and delivery costs are not mentioned in the offer but the tax should be %19 as standard. Delivery time is 2 weeks. Considering it is a small package, maximum 30-40€ price may requested for delivery and handling. It makes total something like 785€, let's say 800€. It makes 1.6€ per unit excluding shipping cost to USA. DHL shipment to USA is 27€ including insurance.

For 100 pcs, it makes 160+27€. It is an estimation but I think it will be around that level.

I am not able to guess any tariff costs but as I know I am allowed to send gifts to my friends.
