If you don't know MAKE, check out an issue! It's a little pricey (4 issues = $35/year but well worth it - I have every issue!) There's something for everyone. The new issue has a short article on Lignum Vitae and how it was used as bearings in ships!! Never realized just how cool the stuff is...


Make - Volume 34
 
The guy I work with for Freedom Pens, used it for bearing races in molten sulfur pumps. Lasted 10 times longer than the expensive metal races they were using.
