A piece I did for something different in the line of wall mount magnetic bottle openers. Walnut finished in paste wax. 1.5 inch neodymium magnet buried in it.

Where do you get your magnets and what is the pull force on them? I make sewing pin bowls with hidden magnets inside an am always looking for a good source of magnets.

I've been using HF's 50mm Round Magnet w/ 25lb. pull that I can get for $2.99-3.99 since I'm going to bury it in a block of wood.

I used the 1.5" ones from Amazon. Just under $2.28 each in a pack of 10. If the wood is dense I use 2.
