That and the "low end" Sierra. Should I change my way of thinking. You pretty much have to look for the seam unless you just happen to see it. It's not real noticeable

Chris: It seems to. I had no trouble turning. Also, I had run a seal of thin ca down the seam, and when I looked at it I thought I'd messed up. Once the pr was cast, you can't even see the ca.

Your daughter seems to have the mind set that you do on the kit being a low end kit. Gery seems to have an excellent idea that it would make for a great base and finding another element to add to the casting. Since that foil is available in many colors, I bet you could come up with a multitude of ideas cast different things.

Beautiful Pen!

I do some similar things with patterned sign vinyl and translucent PR. The material cost for the blank is about $.40 and they are always the first to sell.
