I came across some high quality US-made refills at a fountain pen show and bought quite a few. The refills were made in the USA by Hartley/Racon in Rhode Island, for a company called Quill Pen who was bought out by Sanford. The refills are less than 2 years old. I tried them and they write very well! I talked to one of the former owners of Quill Pen and he said the refills have a shelf life in excess of 10 years. I will sell these in quantities of 50 for $0.50 each. So this comes to $25/package of 50 plus $5 shipping USPS priority (in the US). Multiple packages will not have additional shipping cost (as long as everything still fits in a small USPS flat rate box)
