Machining Corian

[RPM]

I have drilled, turned, routed and sawed corian. I am interested in using some very thin stock. Anybody tried or know if it can be plained? Can't really think of any reason it couldn't, but I don't want to experiment with my plainer knives.

I have never planed corian.

But, isn't it the same as cutting it with a skew??

Should work if you take thin passes.IMO

Richard I have planed some down after resawing it for some Christmas ornaments. I worked about the same as wood does you just have to take a little thinner cuts. If you take to deep of cuts it will heat up and possible shatter. DAMHIKT
