Thought I'd pass along the following... Whilst looking for leveling feet (AKA "Machine Mounts") for my Rockwell lathe, I found the the company Conveyer & Caster that have feet that don't cost an arm and a leg. All the ones I had seen were in the $12 to $15 price rage (EACH!) while the ones I bought were $3.86. Got them day before yesterday, installed them, and I'm very happy with them.

A suggestion. Years ago when I bought my Woodfast I purchased a set of rubber foot levelers from Craft Supply....Thought it was a good idea. As time when by and I was turning bigger and bigger pieces the off-balance pieces would rock the lathe back and for on the rubber feet. If you purchase levelers I would suggest ones without the rubber.

Russ - As it happens the ones I got were the ones without any rubber on them... [:D]

Jay - These are rated at 1,000 lbs each... I looked all over locally and couldn't come up with any, even at the big box stores. If you got some for that price I'd say you did good!

Russ - It is an old cast iron bed Rockler - long but only 14" swing. I bought it about 25 years ago when I wanted (not needed [;)]) a lathe. After turning a few bowls and lamps, it sat and sat and sat. Then 3 years ago LOML and I were at the Woodworking show and saw Steven Russell turn a pen and I said "We could do that!" It's been downhill ever since...
