Mach 3 Gillette Wholesale Where?

Hi,

I want to start selling the Mach 3 set that you can get at various websites and craft stores.

I have to make 100 of them and don't want to pay the retail price when I could pay a wholesale price for this large of an order. I basically want the razor head and the two trim pieces.

Does anyone know the wholesaller, supplier, or distributor?

Where are places like thegoldennib and woodcraft buying it from?

hate to say it - but 100 kits is generally not a "wholesale" quantity. I found that out when I had a 100 pen order.

I could ask them, but considering I am there competition and threaten there "lively hood" I don't think they would tell me.

I can reaffirm that 100 is NOT going to impress the makers.

1000 and you could talk.

The manufacturers (for the most part) are not dumb. The Golden Nib may buy 500, but in a few months they will return. If the manufacturer sells 100 to you, the Golden Nib will look for a different manufacturer.

So, for the manufacturer the equation is simple, sell 100 to you and risk losing a customer who has purchased several thousand over the past five years.
What decision would YOU make?

By the way, this also means that if you FIND a manufacturer who will sell you 100, it is probably NOT the same one Anthony is using. So, if you buy them and they come back un-usable (a shipment of these razors heads were crooked, so the insert did not fit right), it is money down the drain!!

Anthony is very knowledgeable on razors and has imported them for some time--the difference between the wholesale cost and the cost he charges you at retail is how you pay HIM for HIS expertise.

After you try to import a few times, you will learn WHY Anthony's guiding hand is worth every penny!!

Why not give Anthony at the Golden Nib a call to see if you can provide a discount on the numbers you are looking for? He is pretty good to work with and his service is good. I know other suppliers (CSUSA, Exotic's, etc.) offer a range of discounts on larger orders (10+ kits, 20+ kits, etc.).
