Looking for trade or otherwise, I've tried to buy one but everywhere is sold out. Looking for a kitless pen mandrel that will hold m10x1 threads (for pem barrels)

As a temporary fix, could you make one? Some scrap piece of acrylic or whatever material that threads easily. If don't take it out of the chuck after making it (to keep it true) that works for shaping/turning. If you plan to use it for sanding/polishing (low speed), remounting it works quite well. I have a few I made using Delrin rods, works for me.
