Another salt bowl this one has a lychee body with a macadamia lid and a spalted tamarind knob.

Nice job, the grain orientation on the lid is great. You are making me tempted to make one of these.
 
Great looking bowl!!! And the finial is perfect!!



What finish do you use on these? Wondering how they actually stand up to having salt in them.....

I use several coats of walnut oil on them followed by a coat of wax. I have sold a number of them & no complaints about them not holding up so far.
 
Nice looking bowl. the lid and body look good together. I took the liberty of touching up your photo makes it a little easier to see the grain and workmanship.

I kind of posted those in a hurry trying to get a bunch of stuff done this weekend since I am going to be stuck in the hospital for a few days & did not pay a lot of attention to the images.
