Looking For

I am looking for someone who is well versed in 3D printing. I have a project that I have been trying to get done and thought I had someone who was going to do it for me. They are on an Etsy site but they told me they could not get to it till after Christmas because were extremely busy. Well I contacted them yesterday and now they told me to try to find someone else. disappointed to say the least. So I thought maybe some one here may know somebody who does this type work. What I would like to do is make a pen display stand something like the ones that you see are Knights or Darth Vader that is kneeling and has his hands out to hold a pen. But what I want is an Angel in this position. Now I have seen the file for such an Angel but it needs to be reworked some in that the hands need to be positioned outward like with the Knight. Also the size needs to be shrunk. Also the type filament needs to be bought but I have a site for that also. Now I know after these are made there is some clean up that needs to be done with filing and all so that has to be included because I have no knowledge of this stuff.

JT, Try going to http://thingyverse.com They have many FREE downloads of files for 3D printers. Or at least you could contact someone there inquiring about the possibility of making your project.

You Might contact the original designer of the file, he is listed in the Thingverse posting, and see what he would charge you to make the file your looking for. The File you reference is an STL file which is not easily modified. He does however list it as an OBJ. file as well which is easier to Modify. With a file it will be much easier to find someone who can print it.

Thanks. I found a new person on Etsy today and they are even better than the original people I was dealing with and cheaper too. They are working from that same file because it is a free on line file.
