I am looking for some larger size olivewood bowl blanks, 10x4 to 5" or 12x 5 or 6". So far no luck on Google. Largest was 8x3. If anyone has any ideas where I could find some, I would really appreciate it.

You could try George in Australia. He used to have a lot of salvaged Olive from groves in his area. I have some from him that I bought at least a decade ago. Blanks the size may/will have flaws like bark inclusions, cracks, knots etc. Id be very surprised if you could find perfect ones. His prices are reasonable and he will do everything he can to find the cheapest shipping.

i could look into my stash for such a piece and let you know. Bare in mind that big crack-free pieces of olive wood are hard to find and some minor checks are inevitable...Cheers

Have you thought of segmenting? You could take some smaller pieces of olivewood, segment them together and come up with the size you're looking for.

This is one of the bigest as well as "cleanest" blanks i have. The initial log before cutting in half, pith removal etc.was pretty big ( its a bit difficult to find such pieces because they come from the lower trunk of the tree. Olive wood pen blanks usually come from pruned branches etc. Noone cuts down an old 100 years old tree for obvious reasons..). The thing is that such a piece weights a lot and postage is expensive nowadays. I am not a seller and i dont want money for this, you could send me a few pen kits or something. Anyway if you are interested send me a pm. Cheers
