Looking for Jet mini that will work in 220v France

Hello all. I am in the market for a jet mini-lathe with variable speed control. I live in France. Does anyone know if I buy and ship a Jet, can I just use a plug converter? Or is there someplace I can buy a Jet for 220v that isn't 4x the price of the US versions?

Talk to a Jet representative. Do not take advice from here for something like that. If there is a warrenty issue it would be better to have first hand knowledge and get it in writing and names to go along with it.
