I'm trying to attach hammered copper to oak. Tried Gorilla glue and CA and I'm able to pull the joint apart. The joint doesn't have to be extremely strong (non-weight bearing, no stress) but I don't want it to fail if it gets bumped.

Thanks,

Ray

I always had good luck with Loctite 5 minute ( 2 part ) epoxy. I let it cure 24 hours before turning but it stays a little flexible to help it not break apart like CA glue in segmented parts.

I think many people here have read many times that I am a huge fan of System3 T88 epoxy glue. It is a long open time so I always leave to dry more than 24 hours. Like most epoxy adhesives it stays flexible but is strong adhesion. Good luck
