Looking for an old lathe.

What I need is an old lathe that nobody is using. I would like to fine an mini-lathe where the motor is toast. I am not going to run the lathe with a motor. I have an old excersizer bike that I want to remove the handles and build a small platform for the 'lathe' to sit. Then I am going to rig some bearings and pullies so that as I pedal.....the lathe turns.

Anyone have an old mini they would like to get rid of?

If you can't get an old lathe, don't let that stop you. Google "treadle lathe" and "pole lathe" to see all sorts of innovative and crazy ways to make foot powered lathes. You are only limited by your imagination.
