Can anyone recommend a good tutorial source for Fusion 360?

I know that there are multiple YouTube channels that do this, but does anyone have any real experience with any of them?

I am reasonably comfortable with TinkerCAD and decades ago I used AutoCAD but back on an IBM PS2 Model 80 with the large digitizer pad and 16 button puck, way before any windows versions and I'm not sure if any of those brain cells are still talking to me.

It would probably be best for me to start at the VERY beginning.

Thanks!!

David, the best teacher of Fusion on utube is Lars Christensen. Unfortunately, his stuff is relatively old by utube standards. The principals he teaches are still as relative today as they were years ago when he made the videos, but the GUI has changed quite a bit. Same tools, just not necessarily in the same place as he shows. Another good source is Tyler Beck of Tech Espresso. His tutorials are much more recent than Lars'.

Hope this helps.

Dan,

Thanks for this. I'll look them both up.

I just have the "personal use" version of Fusion 360. My limited understanding is that this is a fully functional version and that the limitation is in the number of active files you can have. So I'll have to get good at musical chairs with my files I guess.

Yep, your understanding is correct. You just have to get in the habit of inactivating the files when not in use or you can just wait until Fusion starts fussing and then inactivate them so you can continue working on the desired files. It's really not a big deal, just an extra step. Let me know if you ever have questions, glad to help anyway I can.
