Looking for a "click on/off cap solution

I would like to design and make a kitless pen using a cap that "clicks" on and off rather than a threaded cap. I think I am looking for a plastic cap insert that would "click" onto the lip of the gripping section. I found a system from Schmidt in Germany that works this way, but it is for a small #5 size nib and a very slender gripping section. I would prefer to have a larger nib and section, say #6 size. Any suggestions?

This has been discussed here before and it takes some work using the search feature here that may help some. To get you started. Other than that I can not help. I do not make them. Another thought maybe get a couple of the snap cap pen kits available and reverse engineer it or maybe you could use some of those parts. Good luck.
