lookin for the sparkly diamond look

I have a friend who wishes me to make her a pen to her design. She wants a sparkley diamond look on both ends and purple in the middle. I know I can find the purple color acrylic for the center but does anyone know where I can find some sparkly diamond look pen blanks?

Inlay some small diamonds? I hope she has the money.

I don't know. Is there some sort of inlay or plastic that would have that look that you could just wrap around that pen?

Do you do any casting? Artstuff (Douglas and Sturgess) carries some stuff called "Super Sparkle". It's a powdered pigment that you can add to any color to make it "sparkle". I use it quite a bit and it works pretty good.:wink:

Make a double closed end out of purple acrylic and inset a Swarovski crystal in each end. You can get the crystals in many different diameters. I've inset crystals in a few pens and it looks nice.
