Just keep on bidding. The wife will understand. Consider the money you spend a Christmas gift to a young man who is going through a whole lot more than his share of trouble right now.

Man, that's a sweet looking pen, and fir a great cause too. I'll just have to settle for a color photo of it. Maybe Steven can sign it for me one day.

In between the Skiprat pen and the custom fishing rod, what I have a bid on now, what I am lurking in the background watching (and the fishing trip, etc., etc.) I am (a) going to be broke, and (b) in the doghouse!

I'm going to have two problems if people keep outbidding me..... a disappointed child when he gets no Christmas presents 'cause Dad spent it all on a pen and a very ticked off wife if she ever finds out how much I bid!
