Long click plunger

In some of the long click pen kits I'm noticing significant play in the plunger/click mechanism. This results in a loose plunger that causes rattle in the pen as you write. Has anyone else noticed this problem and figured out any solutions- short of exchanging the kit for one that does not have the extra play?

I've never noticed it but have only purchased from Lau Lau. Other suppliers might obtain from a different source. I do not know if that helps but it is all I have.
