This should get me all caught up.Made this hollow form out of the last pieces of locust form a branch that came down a couple years ago.It is a 3 footed hollow form.Finish was kept simple with teak oil lots of buffing and wax.Placed best of show in the small county fair.Kinda neat it looks like a little face.

Nice, are all three pieces from the same limb, the top, not the finial looks different from the base and finial? I like it, but I'd like to see the middle piece (the top) piece, turned a bit more than it is. To me, it looks to be to large or heavy for the base.

Len, yes its from the same branch, just not from the same chunk.I wanted the finial to be the same as the lid base but the wood kept coming apart so I had to make do with some other scraps from the branch.As far as looking heavy I refer to my previous excuse.
