I was trying to hurry up (first mistake) to finish a decal blank. I was applying CA. But I only hand the glove on my right hand and not the left. I was using a paper towel folded in fourths in my left hand, under the blank. I accidental touched the towel with my left thumb and it felt like it just touched a suffed out match. Not to mention my thumb stuck a little to the towel.. This happened 2 minutes ago and It still hurts a little typing this.. The experts always says it burned, now I believe them...

The thick plastic bags that some of the kits come in (not the super thin ones) work as a backing also. Almost never feel the heat and when I do it is subdued enough not to hurt.

Yup, it burns. I actually got a blister once at work when I accidentally sprayed accelerator on a drop of thin glue on my hand. On another note, I always use the plastic bags as a backer - they work great!

...and NEVER use your teeth to try to peel the hot piece of paper towel off your finger when you have the smoking bit of Viva stuck to one hand and the bottle of CA in the other with no cleared off spot to quickly sit it down...DAMHIKT!
