I recently saw in a PSI magazine of liquid friction polish. I have never heard of anyone using it, but I could be wrong. So does anyone have any experince with this type of polish? how durable is it? is it glossy?

I would rather have someone review than fork over $50 dollors and then be dissapointed.

Thanks for your help.

Pete, if you're bound and determined to use a friction polish, I've had the best results with Mylands 3 Step. You can get it from Woodturningz cheaper than anywhere else I've found.

Lots of people use them and lots more have migrated to other finishes. Friction finishes have a reputation for not being very durable although some people absolutely love them. Personally, I have had problems and now use Deft.

Pete, this, but they don't have it listed on their web site. Give 'em a call. It actually consists of three products: Mylands Cellulose Sanding Sealer, Mylands Friction Polish and Mylands Carnuba Stick.
