I was looking at Craft Supplies USA and they have these boxes Cat # 050-3205. Sorry I do not know how to attach details from their page. It states " will accept most styles of pens ".
Has anyone purchased these and will they accept pens like the Junior Majestic.
Any experience with these boxes will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Stephen

I bought a bunch off a freind as he said they would not accept the larger pens, so I am think it will not fit the JM

Lin.

Over the last few years I've purchased a number of these type boxes from Rocklers. At that store, they only come in one color - but two different sizes- regular and "Jumbo." The Jumbo held El Grandes and Jr Statesman comfortably.

But I had a problem with the "lift" pieces coming unhinged or off kilter enough that they wouldn't work. I went to the store and tried out every box myself before purchase. I have no idea of the quality of the CraftUSA boxes - or the size.

Wood Craft also has both regular size and large size. The smaller one will hold up to a Cigar if its turned bushing to bushing. I've never put anything larger than a Jr Statesman into the larger of the two boxes but it will hold it nicely.

Thank you all for the information.
Oklahoman could you tell a computer ignorant guy how to attach the link please.
I will try Woodcraft for their jumbo box.
Thanks again
Stephen

No if the cap has even a slight shape but yes if B to B.

If you want a nice pen box for the larger pens. This one will hold a Statesman (and I assume a full size Majestic) easily.

I tried to find a box that would fit a Statesman at Woodcraft. No luck. Nobody there had any idea what a Statesman was.

Hi Stephen,

To attach a link you copy the address using copy/paste function.
The easiest way is to open a second window in your browser and find the page you want to link to. Click on the address window at the top of the browser window containing the http://yudda.yudda to highlight it and while holding the Ctrl key down press "c" for copy. This puts the address (or any highlighted text) on the clipboard.
Return to your post and paste the address into it by holding the "Ctrl" key down and pressing "v" for paste (think of it as v for view). Nothing to it!
Hope this helps.

Stephen,

You could always make your own by modifying the plans from Wood Magazine. If you are not set up to make your own and you only need 1 or 2 boxes for a special gift, I may be willing to make one for you at a good price as a favor to an IAP member. I can make it any size you want.
