I got a lathe the last weekend of may, and since have literally had 1 day off. I joined this forum cuz I figured I would have time to browse and print things out at work, to no avail. It is a total injustice they expect me to work at work....

I think I may have the first Monday in July off, maybe.

I have been working on "The Last Supper" on my Scroll Saw for 2 months, it has not moved in a month...

I am 35 think I can retire yet?

When I first got my lathe a few years ago I was able to make plently of time for it but over the years there have been periods of time that I don't even step into the shop becuase works and life in general get busy. Don't worry, you will find the time!

When I bought my lathe a few years ago and got it home I could not use it also but for a different reason. I bought the Jet 1642 and specified I need the 110 V lathe since I had no 220 V outlets or room in my electrical panel. The outside of the box said 110. Bolted it all together, leveled it and went to plug it in,,,,220. Took another 3 weeks to get the replacement. Should of just paid an electrician to install another panel.
