Lidded box assortment

Working on lidded boxes this week. Been trying to get the proportions and process down but they keep coming out different. :biggrin: I think it may be true that the wood "talks to you" sometimes while you are turning and takes on it's own shape. 1 maple and 4 cherry with a wax finish and walnut knobs.

Very nice! I'm currently making my first lidded box to hold a puck of shaving soap. It doesn't look anywhere near as good as any of yours.
