kind of sort of --

There is a schmidt mechanism that replaces a parker style refill with either 0.5 or 07 mm lead pencil. May take a bit of tuning and probably will take two action of the lever to keep the lead locked. 1st action will open the chuck and push the lead out. 2nd will close the chuck on the lead.
 
Yes a Schmidt refill will drop in and work fine. Tested this at Berea about two months ago, they had parts if it didnt work, lol
 
Followup. No luck getting the Schmidt pencil refill to work in Berea Lever pen kit,yet. Love the kit, works great with the pen refill. The lever will not click/engage fully the pencil refill so that it can extend the lead. The refill at nib end doesn't seem to "seat" properly and it seems too long. Anyway just finished 1, it is awesome as a pen.
