I got one of these in today. I seems to be a big improvement over the vise I purchased at Woodcraft a couple of years ago. The side of the vise that is opposite the adjusting knob is very tight with no wiggle. The side of the vise nearest the knob has a bit of wiggle. I suppose it is supposed to be this way. I'm thinking that with the one side being solid, if the opposing side is a bit loose it will allow the vise to open more easily and not affect the accuracy. Does anyone else have this vise? If so, does yours appear to be built the same as mine?
