This is for holding leather work while you stitch. Can probably hold other stuff too. You sit on the flat parallel piece and it orients the leather perfectly for stitching in front of you. I got into leatherwork during Covid, initially doing pen sleeves and other small goods. It has some limitations and was the cheapest option out there. I've since upgraded to a better setup. But this is perfect for someone just starting out or trying leathercraft. Served me well for the past 3-4 years. If your looking to give leathercraft a try, it's yours for the cost of shipping.
