Lazer Pecker 2

Happy New Year everyone.
Does anyone use a Laser Pecker 2 engraver on wood pens.
What I see in the demos for the LP2 is doesn't burn very deep.
The price of the 4 or 5 is too much for the amount of us and my budget.

I don't own one but I think that model came with a 5w diode laser. I have engraved on pens and other stuff with a 3.5w laser. It should burn just fine. If you engrave something and you want it deeper, do not move the item you are engraving, just have the laser go back over it another time.
