My Performex lathe died today so I'm looking for new used one. I'd like to step up in size so can turn some bowls. I'm posting here because I will be in the Nashville, TN area the next few days. So if anyone from that area knows of something they could contact me I'd be very greatful.

I have a JET JML 1014I 10 Inch X 14 Inch Indexing Mini Lathe that I just took off its stand to make room for my new Delta lathe. It has 10" over bed capacity. I upgraded it to variable speed, plus some other small upgrades. If there were some way for you to swing by Hagerstown, Md on you way home we might work out a deal. Shipping would be almost impossible.

Always wanted to see New England in the fall

I bet it is beautiful there. I wish is was not so far out of my way. Even free would be hard to justify the gas money but would sure tempt me more. Sounds like a really nice lathe. the
vs is what I really need the indexing is like icing on the top. sure you wont box it up?

according to mapquest 24 hrs and $240 in fuel. 2 days out of my vacation, but a really pretty drive. did not bring my tent to camp along the way...just to hard to justify....
