Just received my copy of WOOD mag and it had an interesting project for storing lathe tools on a pivot arm attached to the bed of the lathe. Bolted on the bed so that simply loosening the bolt will allow the arm to swing out of the way.
Thought some might be interested. Also does has an article n barracuda 2.

Thanks for missing me. It has been a long time especially in a pic post. Started to screen in the deck but then LOML decided she wanted enclosed, LOML had surgery just before Thanksgiving, standard busyness of holidays for a pastor, son requested 20+ pens 2 weeks before he needed them, babysitting the g-son, 4 unexpected funerals since Feb. I even have a pen turned that is still on the lathe because I don’t have the time to take it off & assemble it. ARGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! I am glad that I only work one day a week. [:D][:D]
I checked the online version of the magazine to see if was listed in the articles section but it is not. There is a pic of it here http://www.woodstore.net/is17may20.html

Welcome back Bill, glad to see that your wife feels that you've recouperated enough after last fall to have you enclosing the deck! [:D] Sorry to hear of the four unexpected funerals.

The tool holder is a neat idea but just as with all lathes, they are designed for right-handed people.[:D]

Greg, just slide your headstock over and mount it on the left. Oh wait, that would only work for Jet 1642's and the Mustards.[}:)]
