Lathe Advise

I will be moving in a few days and I will have to leave my big lathe behind (Vicmarc VL 300) for a few months. I will be building a new place and have now where to put it right now, but I will have a place I could use a smaller lathe.
I know a few of you have metal lathes out there and some times I could use one also. So give me some feed back what you would do if you were going to get a smaller machine. Thanks.

If you can afford both ,go for it. If you can only buy one I would get the metal lathe since you will have your Vicmark back in use in a few months.

Thanks guys I thought you (most) would say go for the 2 of them but I think I will only be getting the one. Looks like the metal.

Get the metal Lathe it will be more useful in the long run.
