last scan of questionable wood

I put some polish on the wood and did another scan , I hope this is good enough to tell what it is

John, it looks like birtch to me. But then I could be wrong.[]

Could be Birch. But I'm going with Sourwood or Dogwood. Both can have that pink, with brownish streak.

I would agree with Ken. But would go with Sourwood. Dogwood is still lighter.
