Laser for engraving metal pen parts

I'm primarily interested in something to etch bands, finials, and clips. Would be nice if it cut out filigree for a body tube but that would be down the road.

What is the go to machine for pen makers?

The cheaper route would be an IR Laser. It will engrave metal. The better option would be a fiber laser which engraves a variety of metals but are pretty high dollar.
