Laser engravings

I am curious about what is used to fill in names on laser engravings. Like in ebony, if I wanted to fill a perons name in with gold. What would be the best thing to use? What are other people using? Is it easy and does it last? Thanks in advance for any and all input.

I've used craft paint before.

I used createx acylic paint (black) and that seemed to work well. The laser place (K..woods) recommends filler from www.laserbits.com
