Hi All
I'm not sure where to post this, but figured it probably fell under finishing if anything. Is there an economical way to get laser engraving on pens? I know being small time, not alot of people will want todeal with one at a time jobs. Anyone know of anyone that does this for a hobby that doesnt mind taking on these jobs? Thanks in advance.

I went to a local trophy shop that has a laser engraver and got reasonably good service with having a name engraved on the upper barrel of a pen. It was a bit more expensive than some of the prices I've seen, but there was no shipping involved and I had a 2-day turnaround.

Bob check out this link to Ken Nelson's site. Some local engravers do engrave pens. The only one in my area only engraves flat pieces. Ken is very reasonable and has a fast turnaround. Follow the links on his site to get his prices.

Try Mike and Jen Aminson (http://www.write-n-things.com ) too. Both Ken Nelson and they do very good work, and have pretty good prices.

Sorry! I gave the wrong URL for Mike and Jen... http://www.writenthings.com/

Jen's username here is JenAminson; I can't remember Mike's (sorry Mike!). Ken Nelson is Laserturner.
