Killer Koa on eBay

I was planning on bidding on this Koa block...it would have made 12 super nice blanks (and 3 pairs of half blanks), but it went wayyyyyy over my budget [V]

sad part is there are others that are very close to this. Kinda makes ya wonder where some of these woods go to.... I mean after all we see these ebay auctions up and wonder how many other woods are like this.

By my calculations, at a minimum, you could get 12 5" standard blanks and 6 Sierra blanks out of that wood. That comes out to $6.50 a blank not counting postage to get it. I would be very happy to pay that for pen blanks that look that good.
