I purchased some Carbon Fiber and Kevlar when I place my last Silmar order.
I wanted to cast my own fabric blanks - I have been making snake skin blanks and doing a decent job with them and "thought" the fabric would not be much more difficult.
Long story short I messed around with this stuff for a couple of hours last night and had nothing but clumpy seems and a sticky mess.
I have looked through the library section of casting for some help on what and how to do these castings
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Thanks
Kevin

Yeah, you need the sleeves, but still it's hard to keep them stretched out and straight. I tried a few times and got close, but CaptG does a better job at it.

Ok - So does any one want to trade for some Carbon Fiber and Kevlar fabric....LOL
I won't be trying that again...
Thanks for the comments and the info.
I guess I will stick to buying those blanks and making the easy colored kind....
THANK YOU to all

Just a point of safety issue, carbon fiber and also kevlar need to be handled carefully and the dust is very toxic.
