Gary...it's gold pigment that I dropped in, then a drop of thin CA. Thanks, Dale. The woods of the world sure help make me look good.

Lou, very nice! I've only sold one of the Atlas pens but everyone seems to like it. That ones really sharp, I don't think I've seen one made of Karri before.

COOL!
A Paisley pen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like the looks of the atlas/geminii.polaris pens
(HMMMMMMMM doesn't that sound familiar?)
But they are too short to feel comfortable to write with.
I still make them but haven't sold any which is why I extended the top on the one I posted.
Where'd you get te blanks?

Thanks again for all of the feedback. In answer to your questions: William--I got the gold pigment from Michael's. It's called Perfect Pearls-Metallic. John--I haven't even ordered the black CA, but still plan to. Eagle--I got the blanks from www.leetreewoodworks . Lee Tannenbaum is a member here.

Yes, it's a powder. FYI, I fill the gaps before I final sand, that way I don't have to be quite so careful with the powder and CA. Final sanding takes care of my "slips".

It looks like a great technique. I can see how the powder would just "wick up" the CA.
